The V-100 small animal ventilator is a high-performance, high-precision ventilator independently developed and designed by Yuyan Instrument specifically for small experimental animals (mice, rats, guinea pigs, etc.). It has the characteristics of accurate control, convenient and practical use, and stable performance. Real time digital display of respiratory parameters (respiratory rate, respiratory ratio, tidal volume, airway pressure) for intuitive observation.


The V-100 small animal ventilator adopts constant volume and constant pressure control to ensure sufficient ventilation for animals. The range of tidal volume regulation is 0-10ml, and the range of respiratory rate regulation is 1-300 beats per minute. It is suitable for small animals that require small amounts of air, such as mice, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.

V-100 adopts constant volume positive pressure breathing, with a preset ventilation volume during operation. The ventilator stops delivering air after reaching the preset volume, relying on the elastic retraction force of the lungs and chest to passively exhale. Adopting a constant volume ventilation mode can ensure that the same volume of gas is introduced to the animal each time, meeting sufficient ventilation for the animal. Built in imported long-life air pump ensures stable and accurate gas flow output. The ventilator rhythmically outputs airflow according to the set parameters, enters the animal's lungs through the inhalation tube, and expands the lungs to achieve gas exchange. In the constant pressure control mode, by setting the airway pressure, the airflow can be easily adjusted, and the actual breathing parameters are displayed on the LCD screen. The pressure mode and capacity mode are switched through a switch. In any mode, automatic sighing can be achieved by setting the sighing function.

5. Equipped with two types of endotracheal tubes for mice and rats, which can be inserted non invasively from the mouth for assisted breathing;
6. Change the set parameters at any time during the work process, which will take effect immediately without stopping the operation for setting;
7. Touch film button control, convenient and user-friendly to use;
8. Can be paired with a gas anesthesia machine to form an anesthesia respiratory system;
9. Range of respiratory rate regulation: 1-200 beats per minute;
10. The minimum tidal volume output is 100uL, with a step size of 100uL and an upper limit of no less than 10mL;
11. Digital display is intuitive and clear, with real-time display of parameters such as tidal volume, respiratory pressure, and inhalation/exhalation ratio;
12. Breathing ratio: 1:5-5:1, step 0.1, arbitrarily set, up to thousands of breathing ratios;
